Sony Ericsson has introduced it s latest Walkman phone series Sony ericsson W705.It is a slider model and much dedicated towards music edition.Sony Ericsson W 705 comes with a 2.4" QVGA display capable of showing up to 256K colors.It is enhanced with a 3.2mp camera ,FM radio with a RDS.It uses quad-band GSM and dual-band 3G support.It incluides Wi Fi faciltiy but Gprs is absent in this mobile.It feautures Shake control and SensMe much needed for a walk man series and has 120 MB of internal memory which can be extended by M2 card slot .Along with it 4GB memory card included with the phone package which adds to the memory of the phone.It will be released in two model 705,705u the latter of which is for orange color phones. It will become available in Luxury Silver and Passionate Red color versions starting from Q1 of 2009.The cost of the phone is not estimated.Meet you with more updates of the phone.If you like the phone buy one and post your comments .Thanks for your time.

if you don't mind i m a great fan of sony ericsson mobile phone & i hate other Nokia, lg, etc.
Because the nokia doesn't innovating the design & tech.
that's why i love sony
althought nokia is very most popular brand india but sony ericsson is the very popular in college & school guys in india.
& i have the sony ericsson w760i model, it's 9th model u have baught.
so i m very interested to buy this.

i totally luvv dis phone it roxx and i'll buy it even if it costs almost all of my moneyy...how much does it cost in $ (sgd) and when will it be out in Singapore and thanks whoever replies me. =D

I think that for all that is in this phone (wifi,3.2mp camera, very clear sound from the loudspeaker, shake control(very funny),...)the price isn't very high.
Concretely i payed it 385CHF: it's the swiss money^^. In US dollars: 327.5 $. And in euros:260.5 €
So buy it!

Hi there. My partner purchased this phone in NZ and has had it for a week and we've encountered a major issue. The phone initially stopped receiving texts which we thought was something to do with the sim card. But no other sim card works. The whole phone freezes when it's turned on, it keeps rebooting itself every minute or so and the whole thing has just stopped working. When accessing the memory card it looks like everything downloaded (games) has doubled. We now have everything twice. Hopefully this is just a virus, not the phone itself, but we already had the sony ericsson C510 which had the 'this is not a sony ericsson battery' issue that soooo many of those phones have had. So I'm not hopeful. Again, sony, fantastic phone but more of them need to work fresh out of the box.
